PRE-DANCE (Ages 3-5)
Our Pre-Dance class is specifically designed for young first-time dancers, typically ages 3 to 5, depending on the individual. Our dancers will learn the foundational movements that teach them rhythm, counting, shapes, and sharing. We incorporate different dance styles, such as ballet, tap, and Jazz. Our class focuses on proper technique through creative dances and imagination. We teach patience and discipline by having the class work together and giving individual attention while going across the floor. This fast-paced class allows kids to learn essential motor and social skills while having fun. Ballet and Jazz will focus on basic positions, warm-ups, and movement across the floor. Tap will focus on coordinating hand and foot actions while learning basic tap steps.
Students should have a leotard, tights, pink ballet shoes, and black tap shoes to prepare for dance class. We suggest using transition tights for the best experience.
